M.Dias Branco S/A Indústria e Comércio de Alimentos (“Company”), pursuant to Article 12, paragraph 4 of CVM Instruction 358/02, hereby informs its shareholders and investors in general that it has received a official notice from its shareholder FAMA Investimentos Ltda., inscribed in the roll of corporate taxpayers (CNPJ/MF) under no. 00.156.956/0001-87, headquartered at Rua Samuel Morse no. 74, conjunto 173, 17º andar, CEP 04576-060, in the city and state of São Paulo, announcing that the investment funds and portfolios it manages have purchased common shares issued by the Company, traded under the ticker MDIA3, in operations conducted on the BM&FBOVESPA – Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange, and now holds a consolidated total of five million, seven hundred and three thousand, four hundred and eight (5,703,408) common shares, representing 5.02% of the total of common shares issued by the Company. FAMA Investimentos further declares that it does not hold any warrants, share subscription certificates or stock options issued by the Company or debentures convertible into Company shares.
