Eusébio-CE, November 1, 2018 – M. DIAS BRANCO S.A. INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE ALIMENTOS (“M. Dias Branco” or “Company”), through its Investor Relations Officer, hereby announces to its shareholders and to the market that initiated the process for the succession of the Vice President of Investments and Controllership and Investor Relations Officer, Mr. Geraldo Luciano Mattos Júnior.
It is clarified that, until the conclusion of this process, scheduled for the second quarter of 2019, the leadership of the Vice-Presidency of Investments and Controllership and of the Investor Relations Office will remain in charge of Mr. Geraldo Luciano Mattos Júnior, ensuring that the process is carried out in a planned and gradual manner.
In addition, the company announces that the controlling shareholders of M. Dias Branco will appoint Mr. Geraldo Luciano Mattos Júnior to become part of the Company’s Board of Directors. In this context, and during the said succession process, the company will redefine the assignments of the current vice presidencies.
Mr. Geraldo Luciano Mattos Júnior joined M. Dias Branco in 2000, working as an Advisor of the Executive Board, a position he held until 2003, when he was appointed Finance Officer, and since 2006 he holds the position of Vice President of Investments and Controllership and Investor Relations Officer.
The Management of the Company will keep the market informed on the progress of this succession process, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
