Eusébio-CE, December 16, 2021 – M. DIAS BRANCO S.A. INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE ALIMENTOS (“M. Dias Branco” or “Company”) informs its shareholders and the market in general that it was selected to compose, as of January 2022, the portfolio of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of B3.
ISE, which is now in its 17th edition, seeks to create an investment environment compatible with sustainable development demands in contemporary society, supporting investors in decision making and encouraging companies to adopt the best sustainability practices.
Comprising 45 companies from 28 sectors, the 2022 portfolio of the ISE B3 used new criteria, considering, in addition to questionnaire responses and evidence analysis, data from CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) – international reporting platform for strategic climate change management initiatives – and information from RepRisk – company specialized in environmental, social, and corporate governance data science – regarding the reputation of companies.
This achievement reinforces M. Dias Branco’s commitment to sustainable growth, reflected in adopting best practices in environmental, social, and corporate governance.
