Eusébio-CE, January 05, 2021 – M. DIAS BRANCO S.A. INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE ALIMENTOS (“M. Dias Branco” or “Company”) informs its shareholders and the market in general that it has been selected to compose the portfolio of the Carbon Efficient Index (ICO2 B3). The new portfolio will be valid from 01/04/2021 to 04/30/2021, being rebalanced every four months, following the IBrX 100 updates.
The ICO2 is composed of shares of companies participating in the IBrX 100, which accept to adopt transparent practices in relation to their greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), affirming their concern with global warming.
This achievement reinforces M. Dias Branco’s commitment to sustainable growth, reflected in the adoption of best practices in environmental, social and corporate governance.
