Eusébio-CE, December 01, 2020 – M. DIAS BRANCO S.A. INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE ALIMENTOS (“M. Dias Branco” or “Company”) informs its shareholders and the market in general that it has been selected to compose the portfolio of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of B3, which will be valid from 01/04/2021 to 12/30/2021.
ISE seeks to create an investment environment compatible with the demands of sustainable development in contemporary society and to encourage the ethical responsibility of corporations. It is an important tool for analyzing the performance of companies listed on B3 under the aspect of corporate sustainability, based on economic efficiency, environmental balance, social justice and corporate governance.
The portfolio comprises 46 shares of 39 companies, representing 15 sectors, which add up to R$ 1.8 trillion in market value. This amount is equivalent to 38% of the total market value of companies that trade shares in B3, based on the closing of 11/25/2020.
This achievement reinforces M. DIAS BRANCO’s commitment to sustainable growth, reflected in the adoption of best practices in environmental, social and corporate governance.
